In the middle of July, Guðrún, Lilja, and I went to Ketuvötn on Skagaheiði. We pitched our fine tent in Blöndós and drove from there to the lakes. We fished from noon until evening. The weather was extremely good, and it was pleasant to be fishing by the lake. The only thing that disturbed us was the flies, which were swarming us. The fish was reluctant at first, but suddenly something happened and it started biting. At the end of the day, we happily headed back to our tent with 19 trout.
