Selá in Steingrímsfjörður August 29th and 30th, 2012
Magnús and I aren't having much luck finding fish
Despite my brother-in-law Maggi being an enthusiast of fly fishing, we haven't fished together often. However, I wanted to introduce him to Selá in Steingrímsfjörður because I have had quite enjoyable times in the river. Maggi was up for it, and just before the turn of the month, we drove north and put to the test whether any fish could be caught. For some reason, we haven't had much luck the few times we have fished together. That turned out to be the case this time as well. Honestly, we didn't notice a single fish. Neither salmon nor char. Nevertheless, Maggi was positive as usual and liked the look of the river. We will have to put this to the test again later.
