Of course, one fishing trip was taken to Heiðarvatn this year, but this fishing trip was different from others, yet no less enjoyable. The catch was somewhat smaller than one usually expects, but it was no less exciting. This was due to the fact that I was in no condition to cast a fly. The shoulder was frozen so badly that I could not move my hand at all. I have an appointment at the workshop in Orkuhúsið after the weekend, so hopefully, this will be fixed (kippt í liðinn). Despite this misfortune, the family prepared for a trip to Heiðarvatn one beautiful Saturday in the middle of August.
The little one had the net with her, as well as clear jars, and fished for three-spined sticklebacks and diving beetles with great enthusiasm. After the fishing, we sat down to eat, and on this beautiful day, we enjoyed feeling the wind play around us.
